The Pilgrim’s Fountain

Logroño Pilgrims Fountain

The Camino de Santiago when entering the urban area of Logroño takes us to the Church of Santiago and the Pilgrim’s Fountain, which has so often calmed the thirst of city walkers and peregrinos (pilgrims in Spanish).

Next to this fountain we find one of the most unique elements in the Camino: a gigantic mosaic in the form of the Game of the Goose adorned with Jacobean motifs.

The fountain is very old, it was rebuilt in 1675 and restored in 1986.

Barriocepo, 6. 26001, Logroño.
